The Alfonso family has been making wine in the Val do Umia for generations, but the modern winery was established in 1997, bringing production into the modern era while preserving the philosophy of their ancestors.Their approach to viticulture combines manual harvesting, the exclusion of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, and VSP systems, while embracing 21st-century winemaking techniques.
